My husband and I love 7 Wonders, but were slightly disappointed with II. It looks like they went backwards with the graphics. They added a couple of new features, which are ok. We may keep it, but overall disappointed.

Just wondering why the “permanent timer freeze” doesn’t work in the NDS version. I’ve uncovered it several times at different levels and it hasn’t worked yet. The timer shows as frozen, and as I work the puzzle, it unfreezes well before I’m finished the matches. That’s not exactly permanent. When I play 7 Wonders II in the PC version, I use the timer freeze to build up points. I’m disappointed it isn’t working in the NDS version.

While I enjoyed the first DS game, this one was way too short as I had finished it in two hours on a sunday. The graphics are good and the basic gameplay is unchanged from the first one with a few added twists. The bottom line is the game is too short with little replay value.
